Rana graduated from Rutgers University and subsequently from St. Thomas University's School of Law. She has been barred in New Jersey since 2014. She has worked for Geico as a personal injury/general liability defense house counsel. She then moved to AIG doing the same kind of work, including worker’s compensation defense. She is currently employed with Chubb as a Claims Director. She is a proud aunty to 7 beautiful nieces and nephews and also volunteers at a local farm in Hopewell, Marchese Farm, performing tasks such as weeding, transplanting, and harvesting.
