There are so many ways to get involved with our CASA SHaW program as we seek to better the lives of abused and neglected children in foster care.
You can help change a child's story by becoming a CASA volunteer for an abused and neglected foster child. All children need is one, stable adult in their life to make all the difference in the world. Becoming a CASA volunteer is one of the most fulfilling opportunities you can embark on.
Donate Funds To Help Abused & Neglected Children
By donating funds to CASA SHaW, you will help to ensure that foster children who are making their way through "the system" get the attention they deserve. They did not make the choices that placed them into care. We are here to provide them what they need to not only survive, but to thrive.
Making a one-time or small monthly donation will always go a long way to help children who have been displaced from their biological families. Help us continue to be the difference in their lives.
Not only can you stay informed about what's happening here at CASA SHaW, but you can also learn more other subjects surrounding child advocacy, foster care, and other important social issues that we engage that helps the children we serve. We have diverse communities throughout Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties and aim to educate the general public about child advocacy issues.
Attend An Information Session: Gather more information about the role CASAs play in the lives of the children we serve. Attend one of our sessions that we hold on a monthly basis. Attending an information session is also the very first step folks take if they want to become a CASA volunteer.
Become A Traveling Tutor: Foster children struggle in school. Many worry about when they'll eat their next meal - or if they'll even eat that night. Many fear that they will never see their parents again. School is sometimes the furthest thing from their mind. Traveling tutors make a huge difference in the lives of the foster children we serve.
